I was born in a refugee camp in Sudan to an Ethiopian family with roots in Tigray. My earliest story is one of transition and resilience.
I began exploring the oils, butters, grains, and botanicals that have long been connected to African and Ethiopian traditions. One ingredient especially captured my attention: teff.
